First of all, my heartfelt thanks for making Adrian and my job so straight forward! We had no idea what we were signing up for and all your efforts made it run a lot smoother than we expected (or feared!)

If you haven't seen the final results, our men's team ended in 5th place with a points total of 165.  More to the point, we successfully fielded a competitor in every event except the V35 walk and the V35 hurdles.

For a club with a fairly limited pool to draw from that counts as a win in itself! At the end of the day those of us still there had an unofficial show of hands and decided that our (completely unofficial) "man of the match" was Kieran for his treble effort of 800m, and 200m in V70 with 3rd and second places in his heats (despite having "nothing left in the tank for the final 200) and dropping a group to run the V60 relay.

If we're all doing that into our 70s we have nothing to complain about! But there also need sto be amention of Colin for his finish in the V60 800m.

If I'd known he was planning that over the last 100m I would have switched to video but there's a stop-motion of the frames I took attached for those who might have missed it! I believe Chris Pruski also gained 3 PBs on the day, which is always worth a mention.

*If anyone else had performances they'd like included, please do let me know.

Photos are attched, with apologies for those I didn't manage to catch - was trying to get every event I could but it was a bit challenging in between competing and general keeping track of stuff. Finally, thank you again to all of you for coming forward, getting there (uninjured!), and putting on such a great showing for Wales!
