Time to enter the Nick Beer 10k race in Llandudno on 9/2/25

  Nick Beer Llandudno 10k - 9th Feb 2025 https://donhaleblog.blogspot.com The event, which is in its 33rd year, has previously been run by North Wales Road Runners, and Always Aim High Events are now proud to add this fantastic race to our community events.  This not-for-profit event will continue to support local charities as well as the North Wales Road Runners Club. Starting on the iconic Victorian promenade in Llandudno, the route takes runners around the awe-inspiring Great Orme with its stunning views of Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey and beyond.  With hundreds of runners taking part year after year, it is a fabulous start to the running season. Sandman Triathlon 2024: A Fierce Battle Against the Elements:   Race Report. Special report by Always Aim High Events.    https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/   https://donhaleblog.blogspot.com   Last weekend marked the highly anticipated return of the Sandman Triathlon for its 14th year at the breathtaking Traeth Llanddwyn. This year’s event also played host to Stage 5 of the Welsh Triathlon Super Series, where fierce competition unfolded as athletes vied for the sprint title. The weather didn’t cooperate this weekend, with strong gusts and heavy sea swells forcing us to cancel the swim leg on both days. Sunday then greeted us with torrential rain. Photo by Steve Jeffery.     https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/events/nickbeer10k   Race organisers Always Aim High have taken over the running control of the annual Nick Beer 10k memorial race from North Wales Road Runners who have successfully managed this unique event for the past 23 years.  The new race date of  Sunday 12th February 2023,  with a 12-noon start, has been confirmed for this popular event, but prospective entrants are advised to register their interest as soon as possible. A statement from the organisers, states: “Always Aim High Events are proud to present a new road running event in our race calendar - the iconic  Nick Beer 10k . Latest news and updates to the Nick Beer 10k  race 2023. – entries now open for this popular event run around Llandudno’s famous Great Orme. https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/ https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/events/nickbeer10k Report by Don Hale.   For next year’s running of the famous Nick Beer 10k race in Llandudno, the previous race directors John and Kay Hatton, from North Wales Road Runners, who have successfully managed this  event  for over 23 years, have finally given over the supervision and control of this popular event to the new race organisers Always Aim High.   We have published their preview and race details and can confirm that the next Nick Beer race will be held on  Sunday 12th February 2023 (12 noon start)  in Llandudno.
