'Guild Running Workshop' organised along Colwyn Bay promenade. donhaleblog.blogspot.com/2026 coastandcountry.blog North Wales athletics coaches Tony Price Jones, Jonathan Kettle and Hayley Price Jones, organised a 'Guild Running Workshop' recently in cooperation with Welsh Athletics along Colwyn Bay promenade. Tony confirmed:  “We were able to put fifteen new people through the course to help with Dalzell Runners, and also at Rhos, and at other local parkruns, and to be able to offer more Guilds opportunities. “The course was 500m, and I managed to get the entire course fees covered by some fantastic sponsors, including FatFace , who were the largest sponsor, but also many thanks to Chris Spillane and Co .” And praise should be given to athlete Jasper Mcqueen, from Porth Eirias Runners, who has also organised some previous Guild Running workshops.    *Above some volunteers and coaches in action ...

For the past few weeks, Tony has been seen pounding the streets, promenade, and hills around his hometown in Llandudno, with a determination to support such a worthy and charitable cause. Green, global challenge from ‘Dawn to Dusk

*North Wales Road Runner Helen Hannam will be one of many athletes competing in the global Dawn till Dusk charity challenge on Saturday Green, global challenge from ‘Dawn to Dusk’ Relay teams of North Wales based runners, walkers, and cyclists are preparing to take part in an unusual ‘Dawn to Dusk’ green, global charity challenge this Saturday to see how many kilometres they can complete within a 12-hour period. A number of targets have been set for each of the different activity sections, offering branded coloured wristbands, and beautiful natural wooden eco medals to finishers, along with spot prizes and special awards to category winners. The object is to find the teams who can complete the longest distances worldwide with donations given to Mind, Sporting Equals, or NHS Charities.  All finishers will also have the option to collect a special medal with an Ultra X logo in the centre, and/or to make an additional donation to the organiser’s sustainability partners,  Mossy Ea...
