WMAL director Brett Davis confirmed : “This is the current list for the Welsh Masters Athletics men’s team for the Inter-Area male team as they currently stand. Any gaps shown are still available for people to approach myself, Eleri Jones, or Louise Kirby about.  “In addition, the M35-49 age group 400m slot may become available due to an injury that is being assessed.” WMAL MALE TEAM MEMBERS: 60m hurdles:  M50 Glyn Price. The next inter-area event is indoors and is on 25th  February 2024 at Lee Valley Athletics Centre, just outside London.  We are really keen to field the strongest Welsh Masters’ team that we can and we know that we have a lot of talent around here. We did brilliantly in the summer and it is time to build on that success. To do that, we need to have the largest pool from which to select.  
Selection will be made over the next few weeks and will be based on recent results on power of 10 (2022, 2023). We would like to get the provisional women’s team out in mid-January so that people can make travel arrangements, the men’s will take longer to establish.

Welsh Masters Notice of AGM This email is being sent to all confirmed members of Welsh Masters Athletics Limited who are on the Register of Members as at today’s date to provide the formal notice of Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 3 November 2023 at 7:30 pm. As the sport is still struggling to recover from Covid, the Board has decided that no awards will be made for 2022 so the opportunities for a celebration should be postponed till next year when the 2023 results will be available.   For that reason we will hold the formal AGM by Zoom, and those wishing to attend need to register in advance by emailing me before 31 October 2023 to get the system set up.  I attach -                     Notice of Meeting, Proxy Form.                Accounts to 31 December 2022.
