Challenge Cup win for Kinmel Bay FC against Meliden FC

Tom Wickerson opened the Miners score 5 minutes into the match assisted by Lee Beattie in what became the only goal for Meliden in this game. 20 minutes later the Bay equalised when Tate Walker capitalised on a great corner kick delivered by Nyal Hughes. 

The teams played fast football in bright sun at the Y Morfa sports centre with the Miners Lee Pierce receiving a red card just before half time. Despite a man down the Miners did not concede another goal until the 79th minute when the Bay’s Charlie Jones assisted by Sean Sheridan drove past the Miners keeper.
