The next NW CX League fixture will be at BALA.

Car parking is at the Green LL23 7NG, make sure you pay for parking. Toilets are also at this location. The fields are a 5-minute walk from the car park. 

Do not try and park closer to the fields. Loads of space for gazebos on the side of the course.

The route is a flat course but challenging, there’s a smooth compacted track roughly 150 meters that will take a spike. 

Approx distances of the routes are shown below.  

We are very lucky to have permission to host this race please respect the fields, ideally do warm ups and cool down on the trail opposite the race fields.

Photos at Rhos by Danielle Peevor, Dougie Graham and others.   It was another fantastic event and a new attendance record at the Llandrillo yn Rhos parkrun, held for the first time on Christmas Day, with over 600 finishers on a bitterly cold but bright morning, and it was similar at the Nova parkrun with over 300 entrants! Elite athletes, and club members from near and far, together with local runners and walkers – and many in festive attire – created a warm and friendly atmosphere despite the freezing temperatures. It was another jam-packed and fun-filled occasion on Saturday morning at the new Llandrillo yn Rhos (Y Promenade) parkrun last Saturday following a record-breaking attendance on Christmas Day. Despite the freezing temperatures and a generous covering of heavy frost around the region, with the icy conditions causing the cancellation of rival events at  Conwy  and at  Nova , the Rhos parkrun, possibly aided by a light layer of sand at key points, was given the green light, much to the delight of 576 eager entrants. Conwy photos by Michael Finnie.  donhaleblog.blogspot.com/2025   There was another very good turn-out at the new Y Promenade, Llandrillo yn Rhos parkrun last Saturday where, following the council clear-up of the sand last week on parts of the course, two new event records were smashed, whilst other entrants recorded 114 new personal best times in total amongst the 406 finishers. There were some 226 newcomers to this popular fourth event, with many wearing festive attire to add to the usual warm and friendly atmosphere of this fast and furious parkrun.
