With a team of three match officials at this semi-final, it was well played, much like the final last year between the same teams, but now the Bay’s win places the team into this season’s Cup Final.

Junction opened the score in the 19th minute when David Maddock assisted by Mike Williams got the ball past excellent Bay keeper Alistair Macaulay.

It was not until 20 minutes later Daniel McIlvogue assisted by Ciaran Brady equalised and despite fast play at both ends of the pitch in front of many supporters on a fine day, it was not until halfway through the 2nd half that M Richardson assisted J Jones to put KBFC into a lead they held for the match.

Bay played all 5 subs during the match with Oliver Gray brought on in the 69th minute to score the Bay’s 3rd goal just at the end of play.

The match also saw KBFC keeper save some driving Junction shots and a result which brings Kinmel Bay FC to this season’s final.  The photos are testament to a fast, fit, and skilful match.

*In the final KBFC will face either be Cerrigydrudion or Penmaenmawr Phoenix which is being played Saturday the 15th of March.
