About the book: I climbed Kilimanjaro- and learnt things by Philip Crompton.
A slightly nervous 63-year-old agrees to try to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. It’s a tough ask and this book tells the story of the expedition. If you’re thinking of doing something similar, then grab a copy.
But there’s more. As the high-altitude impacts, and Philip spends almost sleepless nights in a tent on the mountain side he reflects upon what the experience is telling him about how to embrace life. And what guests from his podcast series “I DID YOU CAN,” had told him.
And so 8 “Kilimanjaro Lessons” emerge. Things that he wished that he’d fully understood when he was younger and which he is sure will help many people fulfil their potential and lead highly satisfying lives.
