This edited report is courtesy of the Nova Run Director:
Well done to the 280 people who joined us to walk, jog and run at the Nova this morning including 27 doing a parkrun for the very 1st time. We were also happy to welcome Nova Prestatyn 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer who joined us today.
The group offer support to those affected by Cancer who wish to take some part at our event, and they would be happy to hear from anyone who may be interested in joining them. Please see their Facebook page for more details and their next meet up at our event is on 30th August.

So today was my last as Event Director. It has been 4 years since I became ED (alongside Sarah) taking over from Eva who set up and started Nova Prestatyn parkrun. We had managed 12 events when lockdown hit and when Eva stepped down (during lockdown) we had no event and two rookies at the helm!
Thanks to the dedication of the core volunteer team, in September 2021, we were back in action and have not looked back since. Although a few faces may have changed, the teams commitment remains the same as we strive to make our event accessible to as many people as possible *This week 280 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 96 were first timers and 36 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 29 different clubs took part. The event was made possible by 22 volunteers:
Simon BONFIELD • Abi HEWITT • Jo LEWIS • Mike PEARSON • Claudia SMITH • Gill GLENN • Katie NEWE • Martin KING-SHEARD • David G WILLIAMS • Eirlys PALFREY • Girvin PALFREY • Denis NEWE • Fiona MARSTON • Suzanne MALONEY • Jo QUARTLEY • Caryl THIRSK • Carrie PURDOM • Shaun MALONEY • Malcolm KIRBY • Janet HINTON • Tracey GRIFFITHS • Luisa Sarah CEREZO.
