North Wales Sports and community blog reaches its ONE MILLIONETH VIEWING - and new children's cancer charity appeal...

I am pleased to confirm that the sports, features, and community blog has now reached over ONE MILLION DOWNLOADS from about 1,500 popular posts within the last few years.

This total was expected to be achieved by Christmas but due to a recent surge of demand it has now reached this target three months ahead of schedule thanks to the generous support of readers and followers.

Combined with the Coast and Country blog and websites, it also attracts over 100,000 social media downloads each week, and provide a wealth of information, news and results etc.

The blogs also promote local businesses, sports clubs, charities, arts and entertainments and provides a grassroots resume of North Wales activities.

Many local charity and fundraising events have benefitted from the exposure and publicity on these sites and helped to raise many tens of thousands of pounds for worthy causes.

Coast and County in association with Don Hale's blog is now helping to support and promote charity events with donations to children's cancer charities and cancer research and we have now included a special donation payment link, and a unique QR code to allow supporters to donate whatever they wish towards these essential services.

*This is the additional QR link to help donate towards the special Coast and Country children's cancer charities and cancer research appeals.

The sports features - and in particular athletics - have proved extremely popular in some far flung places such as Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, China, Brazil, and also in many African countries, in addition to the USA!

The special features section on the associated Coast and Country blog is increasing rapidly week by week, and we also produce books and digital services working in conjunction with Amazon and many top brand names.
