Unfortunately, this meeting clashed with many holiday and previous commitments but nevertheless, WMAL still managed to put a quality team together and were generally pleased with all the varied provisional results. Due to many late changes however to many athletes competing in several different events, the final results list may not be available for a few more days, but we now have the provisional results, plus some comments from officials, and can

Juliet Sidney reports from World Championships in Poland: 31/3/23:  Not quite good enough to make the final today but hit the post. 6th fastest in the world but didn't qualify as slower heat winner progressed to the final. Thems the rules but really happy with my race.  I attacked the e faster girls and just ran out of steam in the end. Last year I was rubbish this year I am back and only getting stronger for the summer. Relays tomorrow w50 ladies and w55 mixed. I will post the times again.  Thanks so much for all the support from home. It's been awesome and I am so grateful. Will do all my thank yous when I get back as I have such a great team around me and friends and family. One luck picket rocket. LATEST UPDATES: Welsh Master athlete Juliet Sidney has sent an update from Poland: “Made the final of W55 60m. Can't be too unhappy. 200s tomorrow at 9.15. 8th in the final today and loved every minute. Would have loved to have been quicker but looking forward to the 200s. Beats working for living and at my age I will embrace every second. Wonderful people and athletes. Privileged to have such an experience." 29/3/23. World Masters T&F Championships in Torun, Poland. LATEST UPDATES: 30/3/23: Congratulations, to Welsh Master, Melanie Garland, on winning the o/60 Long Jump Gold at the World Masters T&F Championships in Torun, Poland, this morning. She also then competed within the 60m Semi-finals and has qualified for the Final. Don Mel got gold. Iris bronze on long jump. Mel, Myself and Sez through to 60m finals.... Michelle Thomas also through to 60m finals. Sez Childs also in 60m final. He thinks it might be a welsh record. But that would need to be checked. Juliet Ju
